Hythe Twinning Association
St George's Day Supper
Hythe Twinning Association celebrated St George’s Day in fine style, with an evening meal at the Masonic Hall in Windmill Street, Hythe.
The hall was decked out in white and red bunting and flags and the tables were splendid in the same colour scheme. The table centres included our three town flags and of course candles in red and white.
Chairman Fred gave an informative and amusing talk on the origins of St George as our Patron Saint. Members and friends enjoyed a superb 4 course meal, finished off with coffee/tea and chocolates.
There was a very reasonably priced bar, manned by Cecil the hall manager and all present had a friendly and relaxed evening.
