JUMILART
14 ~ 16th June, Berck sur mer

This was the 2nd year of Jumilart, a very successful and popular art exhibition to showcase artwork, crafts and photographs of Berck, Northern France and its twin towns of Hythe, Kent and Bad Honnef, Germany.
Several artists from Hythe Art Society exhibited their paintings along with photographs from a Hythe resident.

Friday 14th June was the official opening by the Mayor of Berck, Bruno Cousein.
School groups attended, engaged in craft activities, created their own mural and practised English with some of our twinning members.

The event was open to the public over the weekend.
Sunday saw the artistspaintingEn plien air in the local gardens and seafront.
The Twinning relationship with Hythe goes from strength to strength and activities like this make for an even stronger bond.
